In an environment of bland global brands, and a lack of originality in products or service, mass consumerism, a total disregard for any form or sincere or authentic customer service and the ease in which we can now access a wealth of information – from researching competitive brands and prices, to talking direct to the customers of businesses we are considering doing business with (through chat rooms, reading reviews on Amazon, sharing our experience on blogs) we are saying – enough is enough!

We are voting with our increasingly vocal skepticism. We are no longer prepared to suspend belief. We want what we want on our terms and the world is now small enough that we can
always go somewhere else to find it.

In this seminar we'll share experiences from the frontline of the Customer Revolution and most importantly, endeavour to convince you that it is not a case of finding the weapons to take on the battle with your clients or your competitors. Visual merchandising has evolved from its origins as a shop's decorative arts to its current status as a sales-supportive entity, which impacts shop design, shop signage, merchandise placement, atmospheric and shop image.  Where once the display was charged with 'making pretty' the visual merchandising department is now challenged with 'making sales'.
The way you display your merchandise can have an impressive impact on your sales - 25% of all sales come from the way merchandise is displayed.
This seminar will walk you through visual merchandising steps from the outside of your shop, through the shopping experience, Point of Sale and back out onto the street.
